have had alot of people ask me what exactly happend with Tyler & its hard to explain, but he wasnt sick or anything, but he was teething & had an ear infection [Which we didnt know about cause his doctor SUCKS!!!!!!]
but anways he had been getting a fever on & off for a few days at night so we would give his some Tylenol.
& on Wensday march 2nd we put him in his bead to go to sleep & he woke up around midnight screaming bloody murder so I went in there & he was screaming, but wouldnt open his eyes so I woke Max up & said he had to come look at him so he got up & we just watched him for a minute & finally got him to wake up & we took his tempurature & it was 102 so we gave him some Tylenol & put him in bed with us to sleep!
& he woke up around 4 in the morning & wanted to play which was wierd he NEVER wakes up al lthrew the night like that so I got his glow worm for him to look at til he got tired & he started to doze off & then I started to doze off & felt the bed shaking so I grabbed his glow work to look at him & his eyes were rolled back so I turned on the light & he was laying there with his fists clinched shaking like crazy, eyes rolled back, lips were purple & drool pooring out of his mouth!
I went to call max & told him to come home immedietly & I started balling
I paniced cause I was home alone so I grabbed him & ran to my neighbor house but on the way there his whole body went limp he was just like a rag doll just hanging there I was so scared cause I had no clue why this was happening I knew it was a seizure, but didnt know why it was happening to my baby boy.
So the ambulance came & imedietly said it sounds like it was a fibrile seizure, which it was.
When we got to the hospital they did blood tests, x rays & pee tests on tyler & everything came back good so after about 4 hours of being theere they let us go home.
& they put him on antibiotics for his ear infection & they said it would probably cause a rash which it has, but this is like no rash we have ever seen & I feel so bad for him you barely touch his booty & he screams it looks like open wounds I cant wait for all this to be over with I HATE seeing tyler like this!
I mean he is finally getting his appetite back & gaining the weight, but just knowing that everytime he has even the slightest fever he can have aother seizure scares the crap out of me!
I already want him to sleep with me every single night which I get no sleep & I keep havign that picture in my head of Tyler that day.
I know other people have it so much harder then Tyler, but NO one wants to see thier baby have to go threw any of that I wish I could take all his pain away & put it all on myself!
He has already been threw enough & hes only 1...
but you never know how strong you really are until being strong is the only choice you have.
but today he went NOT needing any medicine, except for his ear infectiong & his rash, but tonight he had to have medicine tonight cause he started getting really hot again & screaming so hoping that it will just go away already!!!!!!
Just when he seems to be acting like himself again it all goes back down hill
I'm so sorry you are going through this. Hope his fevers stay down. After giving him tylenol sitting him in a cool bath & pouring the water over him as if ur rinsing him off can help. My little brother gets high fevers & medicine alone does not help, but the cool bath did. He didn't enjoy it, but it worked along with along w/ a cold rag on his forehead.

As for the rash, when Emmie's rashes get bad [she has such sensitive skin!] aquaphor works wonders!
Ya the medicine they have him on for his ear infection gave him the worst rash, but they prescribed us nystatin ointment that we FINALLY got ahold of them yesterday to give us the prescription & we started using it yesterday & his rash has already looks alot better!!!
